Home Page

This is a personal website for gathering together some of my interests and activities I have been involved in over the years.

There are currently 3 areas on my site:

Family Trees

These are family tree that I have been working on over the last few years.

A tree for the Harran/Harran family extending into the French family on my paternal side and the Barr/McLaughlin/Thomas  families on my maternal side.

The Crawford and Holmes branches of the tree for my wife Carmel’s family which extends into the Stevenson family on her paternal side and the Devenney/Gallagher families on her maternal side.

A tree for the family of my son-in-law David Shields which extends into the Shields/Callaghan/Kerr/Cannon families on his paternal side and and , and the McBride/Sweeney/McCarry/Gallagher families on his maternal side. That tree is private; if you would like access please use the Contact Me form on the site or email me explaining your interest.

Religious Reflections

‘The Net ‘ is a monthly periodical published by Derry Diocese to which I belong. From 2021 to 2023, I was part of a panel of mostly laypeople who contributed reflections on a theme for the month selected by the editor. These contributions were generally bi-monthly but that did vary.

Attracta

This is a legacy site about my sister-in-law, Attracta Harron, who was abducted and brutally murdered in 203. I originally set the site up whilst we still thought Attracta was still alive and wanted to help publicise the search for her.
